DAY 1: Arrival in Cochin.
Arrive in Cochin now known as Fort Kochi, one of the most important cities
in Kerala, South India. Upon arrival, our representative meets and transfers you
to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Enjoy welcome dinner.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 2: Cochin – Munnar.
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast drive to the picturesque
hill station of Munnar, the Kashmir of South India. Munnar is famous
for housing world’s highest tea growing estates. Upon arrival at Munnar, our representative
transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the
hotel.
DAY 3: Munnar.
Have a cup of tea and sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for sightseeing
of Munnar. Explore the beautiful landscapes of Munnar. Indulge yourself in your
leisure activities enjoying cheerful and healthy climate of Munnar. Visit the Tea
Museum. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 4: Munnar – Periyar.
Have your breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast drive 90 km to reach at Periyar,
famous for Periyar National Park & Tiger Reserve. Upon arrival at Periyar, our representative
transfers you to your hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Explore the rich
flora and fauna of Periyar. Enjoy boat ride over Periyar Lake to see wildlife
attractions like elephants, deer, black buck, tigers, chital, etc. dinner and overnight
stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 5: Periyar – Kumarakom.
In the morning enjoy boat cruise on the Lake of famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
to see the rich flora and fauna. Return back to the hotel for breakfast. Later drive
through the beautiful tea plantations and then arrive at Kumarakom, a famous backwater
destination, endowed with copious nature beauty. Kumarakom is a beautiful backwater
destination of Kerala situated on the shore of picturesque Vembanad Lake. On arrival
at Kumarakom, our representative transfers you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight
stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 6: Kumarakom – Houseboat.
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy boat ride on Vembanad Lake to see the
attractions of Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. In the afternoon embark on Houseboat Cruise
on serene and scenic backwaters. See the way of life and activities of local people
on the houseboat tours. See the lush green paddy fields and beautiful groves of
palm trees creating scenic surroundings. See the exquisite view of sunset over backwater
from the deck of houseboat. Dinner and overnight stay will be onboard the houseboat.
DAY 7: Houseboat – Poovar Island.
Enjoy sumptuous breakfast onboard the houseboat. Sail to Alleppey, a very famous
backwater destination of Kerala. Disembark the houseboat at Puthenagady Jetty. Drive
to Poovar Island. It is a beautiful resort enveloped in scenic beauty. Experience

DAY 8: Poovar Island.

DAY 9: Poovar Island – Trivandrum – Departure.
