DAY 1: Arrival in Cochin.

Upon arrival at Kochi/Cochin you will be transferred to your hotel. Thereafter you will go for a half-day sightseeing of Cochin. The sightseeing of Cochin City includes the Chinese fishing nets along the Vasco Da Gama Square, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, Bastion Bungalow, VOC Gate etc. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Cochin.

DAY 2: Cochin - Munnar.

After breakfast you will head for Munnar, enjoying the scenic beauty and the wonderful waterfalls, hills with the low flying clouds. In the evening you will go for sightseeing tour of Munnar, which covers the Raja Malai peak where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats). Overnight will be at hotel in Munnar.

DAY 3: Munnar – Anamudi – Munnar.

Breakfast follows a visit to the nearby tea plantations, Anamudi, Eravikulam National Park, Devikulam, Mattupetty, Pallivasal, Attukal, Pothamedu etc. Rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight will be at resort/hotel in Munnar.

DAY 4: Munnar – Periyar.

In the morning you will proceed to Periyar visiting Idukki dam on the way. Upon arrival you will check in at hotel. The Periyar wildlife sanctuary is home to many nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger etc. In the evening you will go for a boat cruise in the lake and watch wild animals. Overnight stay will be at resort/hotel in Periyar.

DAY 5: Periyar.

In the morning, you will be taken for boating through Periyar Lake and Wildlife sanctuary. You can visit the rare species of plants and animals. Afternoon visit spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc. on your way back to the hotel, you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight stay will be at Periyar.

DAY 6: Periyar – Kumarakom.

In the morning you will proceed to Kumarakom. Upon reaching Kumarakom you will visit the Bird Sanctuary and then proceed to the Vembanand Lake. Backwaters are a network of lakes, canals and estuaries and deltas of rivers that drain into the Arabian Sea. Overnight stay will be at the Houseboat.

DAY 7: Houseboat Cruise.

You will get to see closely the lifestyle of the rural folks of Kerala and also enjoy the natural beauty while sailing through the Kerala backwaters. Stay overnight in the Houseboat.

DAY 8: Alleppey.

You will disembark the houseboat at the backwater resort and check into the same. Overnight will be at the resort in Alleppey

DAY 9: Cochin

After breakfast you will proceed to Kochi/Cochin. Upon reaching Kochi/Cochin you will spend the day in shopping. In the evening proceed for a Kathakali dance presentation. Overnight will be at hotel in Kochi/Cochin.

DAY 10: Cochin – Departure.

After breakfast at hotel in Cochin you will visit the nearby Shiva Temple and transfer to airport/railway station to board the flight/train for your onward destination.
